Abbie Merry – Vocals, Piano & Keyboard Coach
Abbie started her career at the age of 4 when she started piano lessons 7 has continued playing various instruments ever since. This led to achieving a BMus at Cambridge University followed by further training at Leeds College of Music specialising in Jazz & contemporary music.
Abbie has now taught for 20 years & has covered most exam boards from ABRSM to Rockschool. She became a classically trained Yamaha keyboard teacher having worked them for 10 years. She also became a classically trained piano accompanist supported musicians in all genres & levels up to full degree. Having coached vocals in Italia Conti stage school in London she saw many students progress to star in West End & TV shows.
Abbie has taught for Stagecoach for many years & has been Musical Director for various productions. She also teaches in many schools in the Worcestershire area up to A level standard.
Her teaching will adapt to suit individual needs & suitable syllabus / exam boards & is an advocate of Speech Level singing which is used in the rock & theatre world.

In addition to weekend drum teaching at Courtyard Music I am a music lecturer at Halesowen College having attained my teaching qualifications at the University of Worcester.
Mirron started playing guitar aged 11. He graduated with Distinction from the Higher National Diploma in Music Performance. He specialises in electric guitar and has LCM Grade also with Distinction.
Tim first became inspired to play guitar after watching a Led Zeppelin DVD. After a few lessons from RGT, Des Sherwood, he attended a local jam night where jammed with his friend Jack Bowles.
Benjamin Brannelly began playing at the age of 9 and has been gigging and recording from the age of 10 – achieving a Grade 8 Distinction at 17 and a Degree in Popular Music Performance from Birmingham City University in 2017.
